Rooms & Grounds

Craig-Y-Dderwen Riverside Hotel offers rooms with views of either the Conwy Valley or the flowing river. The hotel sits on 16 acres of grounds, including calm woodland slopes and a private riverbank. An accessible room with a walk-in shower and wider doors is available for guests with mobility needs.

Dining

Pet-Friendly Amenities

Dogs are allowed in accommodations, and the hotel provides a welcome pack that includes a throw and Bonio treats. A separate area in the restaurant is designated for guests dining with dogs. The hotel also offers pet bowls and a large paddock for walking, though dogs must be kept on a lead due to grazing sheep.

Craig-Y-Dderwen Riverside Hotel is frequently praised for its location on the River Conwy, offering beautiful views, sometimes even rainbows and helicopter landings, from the dining area and some rooms with hot tubs on the balcony. Many appreciate being within walking distance of Betws-y-Coed and a short drive from Snowdon, making it ideal for exploring North Wales. The rooms are generally spacious, with some guests noting that a king-size bed would be preferable to a double; afternoon tea with prosecco is often mentioned as an excellent experience.
